Ice Express owns and operates five Semco GB-300 ice crusher / blowers. These machines were originally designed to blow crushed ice over the loads of produce and other perishable products, to insure freshness going to market. Modern transport refrigeration has almost replaced this need, except on an emergency basis. With changes to the crusher adjustments our machine blows a fine crushed product, almost as God’s snow.
Ice Express has been in business since 1977. Over 27 years! 1999 was our first snowblowing season. We sold over 500,000 pounds of snow! The response was incredible. Today we own four snowblowers and sell over four million pounds of this product.
